Big Drop Boutique Opens
It’s not like the clothing you want is going to fall from the sky in some big drop.
Or maybe it is.
Big Drop, the New York-centric boutique, lands in Miami tomorrow.
The beach-ready shop — named after surfer lingo — sells swimwear from Eberjey, OndadeMar, Rosa Cha, and Vix, along with denim from 18th Amendment, Anlo, and more. Faves like YaYa, Rebecca Taylor, and Raven abound, as well as accessories from head scarves to sunglasses, including aviators by dVb.
The 2,500-square-foot space has a quasi-futuristic feel: Green stripes painted on the eighteen-foot ceiling draw your attention toward ten frosted bubble lamps floating above, and a digital art installation rotates along the walls.
