    La La Land

    The Good:
I've been visiting this 'city of dreams' aka Los Angeles for the past five years due to my stepmom (actually..ex stepmom now 'cousin') and brother (his title doesnt change!) moving out here. From my first visit out here in '04 up until now I feel that every trip has been a completely different experience. It never fails to surprise me how drastic this city can change from one freeway exit to the next. One second your in Santa Monica and then three blocks later it's West 'Tacky as hell' LA. One second your in the 90210 and the next your in Hollywood. What really blows me out of the water is driving down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). I mean talk about true beauty!!! I have a weakness for the ocean and the mountains, so when you combine the two its ultimate paradise. It truely takes your breath away (esp. when you see the little islands out in the distance). Last year in July I came out here for two weeks and did the usual in the begininng.. Calabasa, Malibu, and LA then ended up staying in Newport Beach the last weekend I was there (loooovveeee. Newport's a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I could go on about how beautiful it is but then i'll just get repetitive. Any who... conclusion, SoCal rocks! Scenery wise it wins the Academy Award!
One big bonus about moving out here is I have become pretty familiar with the area's and places I like etc. and that I have Angela and Marcelo out here ( also BIGGER bonus a few friends!)Cool thing is due to Angela's residence I've been able to expereince 'the norm life' as well as the 'party scene'. I've met a lot of really cool people and find it releaving because it is very easy to meet the stereotypical 'LA peeps' (which suck!! and have no personality). There's a lot of those but they can be avoided easily.
    The Bad:
This section is short and i'll get to the point. Two words: Pinche Cabron!!!!!! yes.. the mexican invasion. I don't judge based on nationalities (ok I lied maybe a little) but damn dude!! remember how I said it change from one exit to the next? Well no kidding! There are some exits that I think should require a passport checkpoint at the traffic light. I cant imagine the difference between the bad area's and a ghetto in Mexico. Cool thing about it is almost all Mexi's that i've met are really kind. Other bad.. things can get pretty pricey! but then again you can end up at a $2.99 clothing store like I did this afternoon and buy True Reigions for $19.99!!! along with a fushia and white pancho ;)
    The Ugly:
One day I found on someone's myspace that for the location part they wrote 'Sunny place for Shady people' as a description for Miami... Well honey.. wrong city to put such a bold statement for. Whats ugly is how superficial, cheesy and fake the 'party scene' can get here. If I took a dollar from every person that's asked me if I was an actress i'd be loaded. I know.. its an industry driven town primarily on film but why am I asked so much? Is it because im a girl and I tell them im moving out here from Miami? probably or it's just the Westcoast pick-up line? and EVERYONE is either...
    A: an actor
    B: a producer
    C: director
    D: photographer
Thank god none of those interest me as a career bc i'd probably be screwed and stuck in the zest pool of wannabies. Though i'd be the most unwannabie wannabie. To top it of types A-D alllllll think you'd work well with them.

Accomplishments: I TOOK MY ASSESMENT TEST!!!!!!! AND SAW MY CAMPUS!!!!!!! I love it! Im so excited and I felt great energy being there today. I can go on forever about my great experience at the school today!

I really wanna start writing a bit more for practice and also to keep track of my big move! Cali pic's when I get back ;)
